Common everywhere. Makes up the majority of airspora outside. Can reach high numbers during spring & summer. Can also increase in numbers during & after rainfall
Very few of this type of spore grow inside. Notable exceptions are Chaetomium & Ascotricha

Commonly found everywhere, especially in late summer & fall; dry rot fungi Serpula & Poria are among this group and can be particularly destructive to buildings
Doesn't normally grow indoors. Can grow on wet lumber, especially in crawlspaces.
